Prep school, but make it a problem.
The Detention Shorts are a one-of-one reworked plaid mini short in white, black, powder blue and soft yellow. Kai took a classic tailored plaid short and completely changed the attitude with layered raw-edge ruffles around the hem and a tiny blush satin bow at the front.
They still have the original structured waistband, belt loops, button closure and back flap pockets, so they have that very proper little uniform feel from the waist up and then everything gets progressively less behaved toward the bottom.
The uneven ruffles, exposed edges and hand-finished details are intentional. This is a reworked piece, not factory-made perfection.
